Read on to find out where to cash personal checks when banks are closed, after 5 PM, on weekends, and even on some holidays.

Places That Cash Personal Checks When Banks Are Closed

Banks with Extended Hours

Many banks have extended hours on Thursdays and/or Fridays. In some cases, banks may be open on Saturdays. However, bank hours vary between individual locations, so not all branches of a bank with extended hours may be open late or on Saturdays.

The following banks offer extended hours at some of their branch locations. To save yourself a trip, call your nearest bank ahead of time to verify that they have extended hours. Some of these banks will also allow non-account holders to cash checks there, for a fee, provided the personal check is drawn on their bank.
