Ashley is a self-professed budget-savvy guru who color-codes her expense spreadsheets and gets a thrill from finding the best ways to travel on a budget.
As a contributor to First Quarter Finance, Ashley has channeled her experience with personal finance into research on such topics as banking, check cashing, and "buy now, pay later" financing.
She has conducted research on companies including Walmart, Whole Foods, Citizens Bank, Coinstar, and Wawa.
Ashley has a bachelor's degree in mass media arts from the University of Georgia. She has previously worked as a marketing project manager and producer, completing projects for clients like Netflix and Sony.
Outside of work, Ashley is a passionate "diff-ability" advocate, organizing a sports leadership camp for deaf and hard of hearing individuals and serving as a member of the 2016 Deaf World Cup Champions United States Women's National Deaf Soccer team.
