Short Answer
Clarks does not offer a warranty on shoes, but you can return unworn shoes to Clarks for a refund or exchange. Clarks allows returns within 90 days of purchase with the original box and receipt.
Clarks Shoes Warranty and Return Policies
There is no Clarks shoe warranty, corporate customer service representatives said. However, we were told that you can return or exchange unworn shoes within 90 days of purchase.
Clarks approves returns on a case-by-case basis. If you have a pair of Clarks shoes that you are unhappy with or that appear defective, you can contact Clarks customer service or visit a Clarks store near you to initiate a return.
Store associates will inspect the shoes for any issues or wear and tear, then determine if they can do an exchange or issue a refund. Clarks may deny returns for shoes you’ve worn outside or that show obvious signs of wear.
If you ordered your shoes online, return shipping is free; however, you cannot do an exchange online. You’ll need to either visit a store in person or mail your return, wait for your refund, and order another pair of shoes.
You’ll need your original receipt and packaging to do a refund or exchange. If you do not have the receipt, or it has been longer than 90 days, you’ll receive store credit for the current retail price of the shoes instead of a full refund.
To verify this information, we called Clarks stores in Arizona, Florida, and New York. All of the Clarks employees we spoke with followed the corporate return policy and verified there is no warranty.
While there is no guarantee that Clarks will do a refund or exchange, all store associates we spoke with said that they always want to make things right for the customer and are happy to evaluate any shoes to see what they can do.
