Does Crutchfield Price Match?
Crutchfield will price match specific competitors — but only on select items, customer service representatives said. If an item is eligible for price matching, the competitor’s total cost (including shipping and sales tax, where applicable) must be lower than Crutchfield’s online price. In-store competitor prices are not valid for price matching.
Crutchfield will price match the following retailers:
- Amazon (Item must be sold and shipped by Amazon.)
- B&H Photo Video (online only; to learn about B&H’s price match policy, see our article)
- Sonic Electronix (online only)
Crutchfield will also match the manufacturer’s price. Nikon, Polk Audio, and Sonos operate online stores and sell products directly to customers.
You can request a price match before you make a purchase or up to 60 days after the date of purchase. To get a price match, you’ll need to contact Crutchfield’s customer service department by phone or live chat. You should have proof of the competitor’s lower price on hand, such as a link to the retailer’s product page. A representative will determine whether or not the item is eligible for a price match. Crutchfield customer service representatives were unable to provide a list of eligible items, but items must be identical and in stock. Exclusions include product bundles, mail-in offers, pre-orders, refurbished items, and Black Friday sale prices.
