Short Answer: While Family Dollar sells some baby products — such as diapers, baby food, toys, and shampoo — Family Dollar does not sell baby formula. To find baby formula at dollar store prices, you may have better luck at Dollar General, which sells powdered formula. We have more details on Family Dollar baby formula availability below.
Does Family Dollar Sell Baby Formula?
Family Dollar sells many baby products such as diapers, baby food, shampoo, clothes, and toys. It also sells some grocery items and accepts EBT cards and SNAP benefits. But Family Dollar does not sell baby formula, customer service representatives said.
We contacted Family Dollar stores in Arizona, Florida, and New York to confirm. All of the locations we called told us that baby formula of any kind is not available in the store.
Baby Food at Family Dollar
While Family Dollar does not sell baby formula, it does sell baby food in its stores. The Family Dollar stores we called said that they sell pureed baby food and solid snacks. Stock varies by location but typically includes Gerber baby food products like 1st Foods, 2nd Foods, cereals, pouches, Puffs, and Lil’ Crunchies. Family Dollar does not sell baby food online.
Baby Formula at Other Dollar Stores
Since Family Dollar does not sell baby formula, we reached out to Dollar Tree and Dollar General with the same question. We again contacted stores in Arizona, Florida, and New York for both companies. Every Dollar Tree location we called said that it did not sell baby formula; however, 100% of Dollar General locations said that powdered baby formula was in stock. Prices and availability differ by store location, but common brands include Enfamil, Similac, and Gerber Good Start.
You can find your nearest Dollar General and call ahead to confirm which baby formulas are in stock and for what price. Some baby formulas are also available for purchase on the Dollar General website.
