However, because not all Ralphs stores take WIC, you should first check with your desired location before checking out.
The USDA’s Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) is designed to help boost nutrition for pregnant, breastfeeding, and non-breastfeeding postpartum women and children up to age 5. Participants need to have an income level that is at or below 185% of U.S. Poverty Income Guidelines. WIC benefits cover foods like fresh fruits and vegetables, milk, cheese, eggs, whole-grain bread, canned fish, tofu, and peanut butter.
Many Ralphs grocery stores, which are primarily located in Southern California, take WIC. But, because individual states assign WIC-approved vendors, it would be a good idea to confirm with your nearest Ralphs and/or state or local agency.
