Writer-Editor

Writer-Editors contribute to First Quarter Finance by creating new content and updating previously published content under the supervision of our Managing Editor.

We’re seeking applicants who excel in all stages of the writing and editing process, from draft to completion. We value applicants who are skillful writers, thorough and efficient researchers, and highly proficient in proofreading and fact-checking.

You must have experience writing and editing online content. Experience with personal finance content is preferred.

If you have a passion for spreadsheets, monitoring trends, and meticulously digging through data, this role is for you.

Under the supervision of our Editor-in-Chief, Researchers play an instrumental role in shaping the direction of First Quarter Finance and ensuring that all new and published content meets the needs of our users.

Writers play an essential role in our editorial process, taking each piece of new content from an unanswered question to a well-written and thoroughly verified resource that our users can rely on for accurate information.

This position requires excellent research and writing skills. Successful candidates will have a user-focused mindset, value continual growth and improvement, and have the ability to distill complex topics into easy-to-understand content.

Experience writing online content (preferably related to finance) is required. Topics are provided.
