King Soopers Carpet Cleaner Rental Policy
King Soopers, the Denver, Colo.-based supermarket chain, has Rug Doctor carpet cleaners available for rent. Rug Doctor lists numerous King Soopers stores under the Find a Location section on its website. We contacted 10 King Soopers stores in the Colorado Springs area to confirm availability.
The Rug Doctor website lists three different types of carpet cleaners that you can rent: the Pro Deep Cleaner, the X3 Carpet Cleaner, and the Pro Portable Detailer & Spot Cleaner. All of the King Soopers locations we contacted only rent the Pro Deep Cleaner. Some stores also offer cleaning attachments for stairs and upholstery. The Pro Deep Cleaner costs $34.99 for a 24-hour rental period or $44.99 for 48 hours. Rug Doctor attachments typically cost around $6 each.
All Rug Doctors machines require a cleaning solution to work properly. King Soopers sells Rug Doctor-brand cleaning solutions for $8.99 to $24.99.
How to Rent
To rent a carpet cleaner at King Soopers, you’ll need to present a government-issued photo ID and put down a $15 rental deposit. After returning the machine on time and in good condition, your deposit will be returned. Only one of the stores we contacted said it requires payment by credit card for security purposes. All of the other stores said you could use your preferred method of payment, including cash.
