If an item under a lease is stolen, a store manager will need to see a copy of the police report. The manager will also help you file a claim with Rent-A-Center. Keep in mind, you may be required to continue making payments.

If you are an RAC Benefits Plus member, there’s a good chance you’ll be able to get a replacement item.

If you’re not sure if you’re an RAC Benefits Plus member, you likely are. The program gives you limited liability coverage which is required for a lease agreement in many states. In some cases, you’ll get sent a new item so you can continue your rental experience.
