Note that not all models are available at all Safeway locations that offer Rug Doctor rental. For example, one store we contacted in Flagstaff, AZ only had the Pro Deep Cleaner available. After confirming that your local Safeway offers rentals, you may still want to call the store to check current availability.
Rental Process
To rent a Rug Doctor at Safeway, visit the customer service desk. Safeway requires two forms of ID, such as a driver’s license, passport, military ID card, student ID, credit card, state-issued photo ID, or immigration card.[4]
You can pay for your rental with a credit card or debit card. Safeway doesn’t accept cash or checks for Rug Doctor rentals due to the possibility of late fees.[4]
When it’s time to return the machine, return it to the same store where you rented it.[4]
