Walmart’s deli hours vary by location but may be open as early as 7 p.m. and close as late as 11 p.m. If the deli is closed, you may be able to find prepared deli foods in front of the counter; these will be available any time the store is open — which, in many cases, is 24 hours a day.
Walmart Deli Hours
Many Walmart stores may be open 24 hours a day, but deli hours vary by location.
The behind-the-counter service deli offers deli meats, hot foods, made-to-order sandwiches, and special orders. Prepared deli foods (often stored in front of the counter), like pre-packaged salads and meals, are available any time the store is open.
After reviewing the deli hours at various Walmart locations, we found nearly all delis are open for a minimum of 10 hours a day. Some open as early as 7 a.m. and close as late as 11 p.m. Here is a look at the deli hours at a few different Walmart locations across the country:

How to Avoid a Wait at the Deli
While busy hours will vary by store location, weekends are typically among the busiest. During the week, lunchtime and early evenings (after work) are also busy. Weekday mornings or late afternoons are ideal times to avoid a long wait at the deli counter.
If you Google your nearest Walmart location, you can view generally popular times for the store in the analytics.
The general manager of each store sets the operating rules of the service deli, a Walmart customer service representative said. This includes ordering protocol — pull a ticket or wait in line — and which sections close before others — the hot foods bar may close before the meat counter.
