Walmart Laptop and Tablet Return Policy
Walmart accepts laptop and tablet returns within 30 days of purchase (when bought in-store) or delivery (when bought online). Most items at Walmart are returnable within 90 days, but laptops and tablets fall under the “consumer electronics” category and have a shorter return window.
Walmart extends its standard computer and tablet return policy during the holiday shopping season. This policy typically applies to purchases made from October 16 through December 25, and it allows for the 30-day return window to begin starting on December 26 instead of the date of purchase.
Walmart requires proof of purchase for laptop and tablet returns. This can include the original store receipt, packing slip, or a store return receipt printed from your Walmart.com account. You’ll also need to provide the original packaging and any accessories included in the box (as previously reported).
Note that Walmart store managers have final authority over returns, and Walmart does follow a return verification/tracking process. The store may deny your return if you have a history of frequent returns or at the manager’s discretion.
