Walmart Vacuum Return Policy Explained
You can return a vacuum to Walmart for any reason within 90 days of purchase, a corporate customer service representative said. Walmart’s general return policy states: “Items purchased in our stores or on Walmart.com may be returned or exchanged within 90 days of purchase with or without a receipt.” This general 90-day return policy includes vacuums and other household items.
We contacted Walmart stores in Alabama, Mississippi, North Carolina, Tennessee, and Wisconsin to confirm this information. Store associates said to ensure a quick and easy return, bring the vacuum to the customer service desk in its original packaging along with your sales receipt. If you don’t have the packaging or your receipt, you can still make a return — but, keep in mind, all returns are subject to a store manager’s approval.
