Store associates in Michigan and New Jersey said new shipments usually arrive on Fridays, but this can vary.

Dollar Tree uses an automated allocation system that arranges shipments based on each store’s sales volume, corporate customer service representatives said. Shipment days, times, and frequency vary based on the system’s calculations.

Inventory at Dollar Tree stores changes frequently. We were unable to confirm a particular stocking schedule for seasonal items like flip-flops and holiday gift wrap, but seasonal merchandise typically arrives a few weeks ahead of anticipated demand.
