104 Gift Cards at CVS: Retail, Restaurant, & Prepaid Options Listed

CVS typically sells a large selection of gift cards in its stores, but third-party gift cards aren’t available online.

We contacted the pharmacy chain’s customer service department and visited a CVS store to find out what third-party gift card brands it typically sells; representatives said that gift card selection varies from one location to the next.

If you have a particular gift card in mind, you can call ahead to your local CVS store to confirm that the gift card is in stock before making the trip.

There are no additional fees for gift card purchases, except for prepaid cards, which typically come with fees up to around $6.

CVS Gift Card Discounts

CVS has a rewards program that provides participants with various coupons. Each purchase also earns ExtraBucks, which you can use to pay for purchases throughout the store.^[1]

Occasionally, CVS offers ExtraBucks when members purchase certain gift cards during a specified time frame. If you’re going to buy gift cards or prepaid cards at CVS regularly, it may be worth joining the rewards program to take advantage of this offer when it arises.

Additionally, CVS offers discounts for bulk gift card orders in excess of $500 through its corporate partnership program.^[2]

You also won’t find any gift cards to CVS competitors like Walgreens or Rite Aid — you’ll have to visit those stores if you’re looking for their gift cards.
