Does Buc-ee’s Take EBT?
Buc-ee’s doesn’t accept EBT (also known as food stamps) for any purchases, including food.[1][2]
This policy applies at all Buc-ee’s locations; I checked specific stores in Alabama, Florida, Kentucky, South Carolina, Tennessee, and Texas and found that none accept EBT.[1][2]
Stores must apply to become SNAP retailers and must sell a certain amount of “staple foods” like fruit, vegetables, meat, bread, and cereal to qualify for the program.[3]
Representatives were unable to confirm why Buc-ee’s doesn’t participate in SNAP or whether it plans to accept EBT cards in the future.[1]
