Buc-ee’s doesn’t accept EBT (also known as food stamps or SNAP benefits) for any purchases, including food.[1]
We confirmed this information by contacting Buc-ee’s locations in Alabama, Florida, Georgia, and Texas and checking the USDA Food and Nutrition Service’s approved retailer locator.
The USDA Food and Nutrition Service only allows Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) recipients to use EBT at approved stores.[2]
Unless your state has additional meal programs that allow purchases like restaurant meals, you can only use EBT for unprepared, staple food items to prepare at home.[2]
See our research for more on what you can and can’t buy with your EBT card.
