Short Answer — Pizza Hut accepts EBT at select California and Arizona restaurants but not in other states. Only elderly, disabled, and homeless SNAP recipients can pay with EBT at participating restaurants.

Does Pizza Hut Accept EBT?

Pizza Hut accepts EBT at select California and Arizona locations through each state’s Restaurant Meals Program (RMP).[1][2][3]

You can use your EBT card to purchase hot food off the regular menu at a participating location, but you can’t use it to order Pizza Hut online.[3][4]

We confirmed this information by contacting several state and county benefits agencies, as well as several Pizza Hut restaurant locations.

RMP Eligibility

RMPs allow Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) recipients who are elderly (60 or older), disabled, or homeless to purchase meals from a particular list of approved restaurants.[5]

You don’t have to fill out a separate application to receive RMP benefits; if you receive SNAP benefits and meet at least one of the criteria, you can use your EBT card at participating restaurants automatically.[6]

If you want to confirm your eligibility before visiting the restaurant, you can contact your benefits administrator.

Participating Pizza Hut Restaurants

Arizona

Arizona maintains a list of participating restaurants for its Restaurant Meals Program.

One Pizza Hut in the state currently accepts EBT — located in Page, Arizona.[7]

California

The CalFresh RMP is available statewide, though it’s important to note that not every Pizza Hut restaurant in the state will accept EBT. Approved restaurants vary by county.[1]

You can find participating Pizza Hut restaurants in your area by checking California’s EBT locator.

Enter your location, then select “FILTERS” at the top right and search for “Pizza Hut” or check the “Restaurants” filter to see your nearest options.[8]

Paying With EBT

EBT cards work with regular card readers, meaning you can pay for your meal just as you normally would with a debit or credit card.[3]

If you’re only paying for part of your meal with your EBT card, you can pay the remaining amount with cash, a debit card, or a credit card.[3]

Other Places That Accept EBT
