Exact requirements will vary by company, but these airlines do require a high school diploma and it is preferred that you have at least one year of customer service or hospitality experience. And, if you work a different job for an airline, it may increase your chances of later being hired as a flight attendant — but there’s no guarantee. Most airlines prefer prospective flight attendants have customer service experience. So, if you do apply for another job, you might want to look for one where you will be dealing with customers.
