Short Answer — Les Schwab does not have a companywide policy on military discounts, but some locations offer military discounts at the store manager’s discretion. Typical discounts are 10% off the product price for active-duty military and veterans.
Les Schwab Military Discount
Some Les Schwab tire stores offer a military discount. There is no companywide discount policy at Les Schwab; instead, the store manager of each location determines whether a discount is available and at what amount, a Les Schwab corporate representative said.
We contacted several different Les Schwab tire stores in Alaska, California, Colorado, Montana, and Washington to find out about their available military discounts. About 60% of the stores we called told us that they do offer a military discount.
Most of the locations we contacted that offer discounts said they give 10% off the product price for active-duty military and veterans.
This means that if you were to purchase tires, for example, the military discount would apply to the cost of the tires but not the cost of labor and/or installation.
In most cases, to get a military discount, you’ll need to show your military ID prior to getting a quote. You can contact your nearest Les Schwab for details.
