Does Wawa Do Money Orders?

Does Wawa do money orders? No. While Wawa is a convenient stop for many things, they aren’t for money orders. You can’t buy or cash any kind of money order at Wawa. A customer representative at Wawa corporate headquarters confirmed for us that there are no Wawa locations that currently sell or cash money orders.

However, that doesn’t mean you can’t get access to money order services at other convenient locations in your area. Many grocery stores, and some convenience stores, corner stores, and gas stations, do sell money orders. Most sell Western Union or MoneyGrammoney orders, and fees are usually low, around $1 or $2 per money order. Of course, you can also buy money orders at the Post Office and at some banks. Limits on the total value you can buy a money order for are usually $500 or $1,000, depending on the type of money order and where you buy it.

In Summary

That’s the Wawa money order policy in plain language. Although Wawa is a convenient place to stop for gas and some quick groceries or snacks, it’s not a convenient stop for money services. Wawa doesn’t sell money orders, cash money orders, or offer similar services. To buy a money order, you’ll have better luck stopping at a grocery store, though there are some gas stations and convenience stores that sell them.
