Short Answer — Victoria’s Secret doesn’t have a warranty, but will let you return or exchange any garment as long as you haven’t worn, washed, or altered it.
Victoria’s Secret Bra Warranty FAQs
There is no Victoria’s Secret warranty exactly. However, the return policy covers every item in every department: if you don’t love it, you can bring it back.
Victoria’s Secret will let you return or exchange any garment, as long as it hasn’t been worn, washed, or altered. According to the Customer Service section on VictoriasSecret.com, any product except gift cards can be returned at any time.
Return Policy
Your options for returns and exchanges depend on when and how you got your item.
If you can find your original receipt or shipping invoice, hang on to it! You can make a return without a receipt, but having it will make things easier. You’ll have the best options if you can show when you bought the item and how much you paid.
If you want a refund, you must have the receipt or online order number to prove the purchase was made within the last 30 days. If you make a return without proof of purchase or if it’s outside of the 30-day window, you will only be eligible to make an exchange.[1]
In-Store Return Process
You can return any item to any store in the same country where it was purchased. It doesn’t matter if you bought it in another store or received it as a gift — as long as it’s in the same country.
Items purchased online and delivered in the U.S. can also be returned to your nearest store. Online orders sent overseas can’t be returned to a store (see the section below on “Return an International Order”).
If you’ve cut the price tags off, you can still return the item. But your return will go faster if you bring the tags. There are a few specific rules about returning items to your local store.
- With the original receipt, in the first 30 days: You can get an exchange or refund for the full purchase price. Your refund will be returned in the original form of payment. For online orders, bring the invoice that was included in your package.
- With the original receipt, after 30 days: You can make an exchange for the lowest selling price of the item. If you select an item to exchange it for that is more expensive, you must pay the difference. You will not receive a refund or store credit if the new item is less expensive than what you brought in for the exchange. For online orders, bring the invoice.
- Limit on returns or exchanges with a receipt: Limits on the number of returns made with a receipt within a 90-day period vary by location. If the item is defective, it doesn’t count toward this limit.
- Without a receipt: You can make an exchange for the lowest selling price of the item. If you select an item to exchange it for that is more expensive, you must pay the difference. You will not receive a refund or store credit if the new item is less expensive than what you brought in for the exchange. For online orders, bring the invoice.
- Limit on returns or exchanges without a receipt: You can make up to $250 worth of returns without receipts in a 90-day period. If the item is defective, it doesn’t count toward this limit.
- ID required without a receipt: You will need to show a government-issued ID (like a driver’s license, military ID, or passport) to return items without a receipt.
- With a gift receipt: You can get an exchange or a merchandise credit for the original purchase price.
- Other exceptions: You can’t return an item that’s been worn, washed, altered, or has the original garment label cut out. You must make all returns or exchanges in the same country the item was purchased. If any local laws are different than store policy, the store will follow the law.[1][2][3]
Returns by Mail
If you ordered an item for delivery, you can return it by mail. You can’t return items by mail that were bought in a store.
The process for mail returns is the same for gifts, website, catalog, and phone orders.
There are a few specific rules about returning items by mail.
- If you are outside the U.S., see the section below on “Return an International Order.“
- If your item arrived damaged or defective, or you got the wrong item, call Customer Service at (800) 568-4288 before taking any other steps.
- If you just want to exchange the size or color, you can order the replacement by phone and get your new item faster. They’ll send the replacement right away, while you are mailing your return back. The number for phone exchanges is (800) 411-5116, and your replacement item will ship for free.
- Purchases returned in the first 30 days can be refunded in your original form of payment or exchanged for another item. Gifts and items bought with a gift card will be refunded as a gift card.
- Items returned after 30 days may be exchanged for another item or refunded as a gift card.
- The buyer’s original shipping and handling fees are not refundable.
- Fill out a return slip for purchases and gifts. If you don’t have the return slip that came with your delivery, you can get a new form from the Victoria’s Secret website. If you need to look up details of your order to fill out the form, you can see them in your online account. If you’re returning a gift, be sure to mark that on the form.
- Mail your package to the returns processing center. You should have a free shipping label attached to your shipping invoice. If you use that label, send the package by USPS. If you don’t want to use the prepaid label, you can send your return by any shipping service of your choice to any trackable, insured delivery service. See the return center’s shipping address.
- Allow two weeks for shipping and for your refund to be processed.[4][5][3]
International Returns
If your item was purchased in a Victoria’s Secret store outside the U.S., you can return it to any other store in the same country.
If you placed an international delivery order by phone, you can return it to the U.S. return processing center.
- Purchases returned in the first 60 days can be refunded in your original form of payment or exchanged for another item. Gifts and items bought with a gift card will be refunded as a gift card. If you are exchanging for an item at a higher price, you must pay the difference.
- Items returned after 60 days may be exchanged for a merchandise card.
- The buyer’s original shipping and handling fees are not refundable.
- Fill out a return slip for purchases and gifts. If you don’t have the return slip that came with your delivery, you can get a new form from the Victoria’s Secret website. If you are returning a gift, be sure to mark that on the form.
- Mail your package back to the returns processing center. You can send your return by any trackable, insured delivery service. You must pay the return shipping. See the return center’s shipping address.
- Allow 30 days for shipping and for your refund to be processed.[6][3]
If your item was purchased online and delivered outside the U.S., the return process depends on the country where you received it. This chart on the Victoria’s Secret website lists the guidelines for each country.
Can I exchange a bra if it has been worn?
Hello, Carol! Yes, you can return or exchange a bra after wearing it, as long as you did not cut out the sewn-in garment tag. We have updated our article to include this information. You should bring your receipt, if possible — without it, you will receive a merchandise credit for the lowest price of the bra you are returning rather than the full price. Best of luck with your exchange!
