47 Gift Cards Available at The Home Depot: Amazon? Visa?

Inside a Home Depot store

Dropping by your local Home Depot is a great opportunity to pick up gift cards, as it sells a variety of third-party gift cards in its stores.[1][2]

I contacted Home Depot customer service representatives across the U.S. to confirm which gift cards are typically in stock.

There are no additional fees associated with gift card purchases, except for American Express, Mastercard, and Visa gift cards, which usually come with an activation fee ranging from $4 to $7 per card.[1]

Be aware that you cannot use a The Home Depot Consumer Credit card or The Home Depot Commercial Revolving Charge Card as payment for gift card purchases.[3]

The Home Depot sells the following gift card brands in stores. Many of them are also available on its website.[1][3]

Keep in mind that gift card availability varies by location and what’s in stock, so you may want to call ahead if you have a particular gift card brand in mind.[1]

Hello, Donna! Yes, you can use The Home Depot’s consumer credit card to purchase third-party gift cards in stores. (You cannot use it to buy The Home Depot gift cards/eGift cards online, however.) The Home Depot stores accept cash, credit cards, and debit cards as payment for third-party gift cards. Best of luck with your purchase!
